Desert Fox brings another addition to its Bad Dream series with Bad Dream: Coma. In this point-and-click adventure game, players will navigate a surreal and disturbing dreamland in search of a missing nurse. However, like its predecessor, click with caution. Your action may mean death.

Bad Dream: Coma features places known from the previous chapters of this adventure series. You will also encounter known creatures in their new form. It has three endings you can explore with hidden content you can unlock. However, be ready for some horrific and sometimes graphic situations. 

It's just a dream, right?

Players waking into a dream is the premise of Bad Dream: Coma. However, this is not a happy dream as the place you wake up in feels sinister. The map looks creepy, with old newspapers blown about and broken bottles scattered over the road. The city also looked derelict and abandoned. Of course, your goal is to wake up and escape this creepy dreamland.

As you navigate this world, you will encounter different areas and puzzles you will solve. The game has various chapters, each with its own settings and characters that either offer assistance or hinder you from progressing. As this is a horror game, you will also encounter horrific situations. The shocks and scares can come out of nowhere. The game pairs it with creepy music to keep you on your toes.

This adventure game has three endings: good, bad, and neutral. However, the game has a rather difficult playthrough reserved for veterans. You can do things, such as harm others if you click anything, and as your action decides the ending you get, you should not resort to incessant clicking. Moreover, the puzzles can be cryptic at times which players will find difficult to solve.

Overall, Bad Dream: Coma is a must-try for those who are into horror and point-and-click adventures. It has an unnerving and unnatural atmosphere made more compelling by the gritty and gruesome hand-crafted and drawn-out backdrops.  The experience is also made more horrifying by the creepy music. However, prepare your brains as the puzzles can sometimes be cryptic and challenging. Not only that, the point-and-click playthrough can be difficult.
